    Two Award Holders
    The Team

    Meet the Diana Award Team. We are proud to work for the Award and would be delighted to answer any questions you might have.

    Maggie TurnerMaggie Turner, Director

    As Director of the Diana Award, Maggie's task is to lead the organisation providing its vision and values. She is responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the Award.

    Tessy OjoTessy Ojo, Head of Business Operations

    Tessy holds the crucial role in heading up the operation and finance functions of the Diana Award.  As head of operations, she is responsible for HR, Legal, IT, Procurement, Policies as well as the leadership and delivery of the Diana Award UK wide. As head of Finance, she is responsible for budgeting, cash flow and the strategic management of costs.

    Nicola BerryNicola Berry, Head of Award Development

    Nicola's role is to lead, manage and develop the Diana Award's outreach and training programme with Award Holders. She is responsible for developing new opportunities, signposts, events, training, projects and partnerships. She is responsible for developing the skills of award holders, empowering them to achieve their potential and enable them to be ambassadors for the award across the UK. She is currently working alongside award holders to develop Regional Hubs across the UK.

    Had ArmisteadHad Armistead, Project Officer, Young Anti-Bullying Alliance and Alumni Regional Network

    The Diana Award recently received funding from the Anti-bullying Alliance to develop the Young Anti-Bullying Alliance (YABA). Had's role is to set up, run and develop the Young Anti-bullying Alliance, representing thousands of young people across the UK who have all done something inspirational to tackle bullying. She has recently put together a Youth Board of YABA members that will work with her to run and develop the Alliance. She will also work with the Anti-Bullying Alliance to ensure that young people's views and voices are represented.

    Dora NanaDora Nana, Project Officer, Diana Anti-Bullying Award

    Dora is responsible for the running of the Diana Anti-Bullying Award processes, general office co-ordination and administration, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Her work also includes marketing both Awards and developing them in areas that are particularly hard to reach. Additionally, she deals with internal and external enquires and co-ordinates resources.

     

    Fatou KaneFatou Kane, Book-keeper

    Fatou works part time for the Award and maintains its financial transactions. She is a very important person to stay on the right side of as she is the one who organises the payment of Award Holders' expenses!

    Katie MarpleKatie Marple, Project Officer, Diana Award

    Katie is responsible for the running of the Award processes from the moment a nomination form is received, until the moment a young person receives their certificate. She deals with general office coordination whilst updating and maintaining the website. She also helps to co-ordinate Diana Award events.

    Frankie SpiveyFrankie Spivey, Administrator, Diana Award

    Frankie is responsible for providing administrative support to the team and ensuring that all members of staff are organised! She also provides supports in all areas of the nomination process, from receiving the forms to to the point when certificates are awarded. Frankie is also responsible for all email and telephone enquiries.
