    Get Involved with the Award

    The Diana Award belongs to you – the people whose selfless work has made it possible. That’s why we want to invite you to get involved in developing the Award, especially through the Youth Advisory Board and Diana Alumni programme, and are keen for you to represent us as a Diana Ambassador.

    You’ll find more information about these schemes on this page, as well as many other ideas for helping out – from helping out in our London office to cycling up Mont Blanc!

    Before you go any further, though, remember that the most helpful thing you can do for us now is to make sure we have up-to-date contact details for you. We produce a monthly e-newsletter, which we would like to send you, and we will occasionally be in touch at other times to keep you up-to-date with everything that? going on. So please, fill in your home details on this form and return it to us as soon as you can.

    Spread the word

    The more people know about the Diana Award, the more inspirational young people like you will be nominated. Help us to spread the word by:

    • Word of mouth.
    • Handing out leaflets and posters.
    • Writing an article for your local newspaper.
    • Presenting other young people with their Awards.
    • Asking to meet your local MP to tell them about the Award.
    • Ringing up local schools and youth organisations to ask if you can give a talk about the Diana Award.

    To discuss these or similar ideas, please get in touch with us.

    Get Sponsored

    If you want to take part in a sponsored event to raise money for the Diana Award, then we’d be delighted to help you. Whether you want to cycle up Mont Blanc, make a parachute jump, or take part in a sponsored read, you can set up your own sponsorship page on Just Giving to allow others to make donations or pledges online. Of course, if you are in the process of becoming a successful young entrepreneur, then we’d happily accept a donation!

    For more details about sponsorship opportunities, please get in touch.

    Help in our London Office

    We always welcome help in our busy offices next to the River Thames. If you could do any of the following, we’d love to hear from you:

    • Assist the Diana Award team with the nominations process
    • Help organise and run events;
    • Join other Award Holders and make calls to schools and other organisations asking for nominations;
    • Take part with admin tasks when there are large mailings going out.

    If you would like to volunteer in our London Office please contact Katie Marple on 020 7785 3836 or email Katie by clicking here.

    Attend Events

    The more networks our Award holders create, the stronger the Diana Award becomes. Have you thought of attending conferences to network with other schools and organisations, or of taking part in the events or activities organised by your regional or national hub?
