The Team

Meet the Diana Award Team. We are proud to work for the Award and would be delighted to answer any questions you might have.

Maggie TurnerMaggie Turner, Chief Executive

As Chief Executive of the Diana Award, Maggie's task is to lead the organisation providing its vision and values. She is responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the Award

Matthew LagdenMatthew Lagden, Fundraising Director

Matthew is responsible for identifying funding sources, writing proposals and building relationships with potential and existing funders. He is also responsible for expanding and improving the Alumni Programme for Diana Award Holders.

Tessy OjoTessy Ojo, Director of Operations

Tessy has overall responsibility for all aspects of the Awards process from content of initial publicity to agreement of awards and subsequent transfer of award holders into the Alumni programme.  She is also responsible for support services function of the organisation, such as all aspects of financial management and reporting, provision of financial and statistical data for inclusion in funding applications, human resources, liaising with the employment lawyer and IT provision.  In addition, she works with the Chief Executive on the development of the Business Plan and takes lead responsibility for monitoring progress against targets and for reporting back to funders on progress. 

Nicola BerryNicola Berry, Awards Manager

Nicola manages the Diana Award's three Award Schemes.  She overseas all aspects of the Awards process from the marketing of the Diana Award, the content of initial publicity through to agreement of awards and subsequent transfer of award holders into the Alumni programme. She liaises with the Operations Director on the editing, design and production of all publicity materials and organises the Award's national award ceremonies.

Fatou Kane Fatou Kane, Book-keeper

Fatou works part time for the Award and maintains its financial transactions. She is a very important person to stay on the right side of as she is the one who organises the payment of Award Holders' expenses!

Katie Marple Katie Marple, Alumni Co-ordinator

Katie is Alumni Coordinator and her role to work with the Diana Alumni Members to ensure that they have their voice heard in all aspects of society. Furthering to developing them through our Alumni Programme, they are able to go back to their local communities and continue to make a significant positive impact on those around them.

 

Frankie Spivey Frankie Spivey, Administrator, Diana Award

Frankie is responsible for providing administrative support to the team and ensuring that all members of staff are organised! She also provides supports in all areas of the nomination process, from receiving the forms to to the point when certificates are awarded. Frankie is also responsible for all email and telephone enquiries.

Michelle Brobbey Michelle Brobbey, Administrator, Diana Award

Michelle is responsible for providing administrative support to the team, as well as for all the facilities management at our Buckingham Street head office. In addition she manages one of our award schemes – the Certificate of Excellence – and is involved in all aspects of the nomination process, from receiving the forms through to the point where certificates are awarded.
